1.PLEASE TELL US ABOUT THE HISTORY OF PDF.
PDF was born in 1992 as a union of good friends out of the Skinhead and Punkrock scene of Motor City Stuttgart, directly from the streets, who wanted to capture the stages of Punkrock that meant the world. It didn’t take a long time to become a regional size, and from there on it was not far to a national-known band.
Many shows across the country followed our 1st success in the 90’s.
We didn’t travel by car or plane in other German cities that time.
We always went by train. In one hand the guitar in the other one a bottle of beer, the Produzenten were often heading their next shows followed by a big
Stuttgart Street Kids Crew. In 1997 PDF was fed up to the back teeth from that dishonest music business and the guys resolved the band.
After the break up from PDF the legacy of Stuttgart Antifascist Oi!
was handed to the Oi!-Genz and after them to the legendary Freiboiter.
Not all PDF-guys were that fucked up that they never wanted come back
to the stage again, so a reunion followed 5 years later in 2002.
Another union of good friends out of the Motor City scene should form the new cast of characters from PDF with the last original member from the 90’s, Karl,
who was playing guitar at first. From there on the band was increasing again
to an international size and rock the boat again!
2. I KNOW THAT WHOLE BAND IS STRICTLY ANTIFASCIST. CAN YOU EXPLAIN ME WHY YOU FOCUS SO HARD ON ANTIFASCISM?
Antifascism is a matter of course for us. And these times more then ever!
For many other (German) Oi! bands it’s just striking to use antifascist or
SHARP logos with no lifestyle behind it. They only use that logos for that they can play in left-wing areas together with real antifascist bands,
and in reality they tolerate the right-wing scum, or even hang around with them.
That’s the typical fencewalker-hippie-attitude what we call the Greyzone in Germany, this has nothin to do with our subculture,
and it’s a serious problem over here and also in other countries.
Lots of scandals bout different bands come out the last years,
that’s why we won’t play with most of them together.
We won’t advance that fuckin fencewalker development, it’s big enough,
and the limits between apolitical and right-wing are not definite anymore,
because many people didn’t care the last years,
they were afraid to make a stand, whatever…
Many apolitical fatheads hate us right now because we’re some of the guys who criticise that development, but most of them won’t realize that the scum has
already creeped into our subculture.
We want to get them out again!
Of course they should have a say about fascism, there’s no other subculture that has been hurt so much by the right-wing side than the Skinhead scene, but almost more important than having a say is it nowadays to make a difference in reality,
to show the people that it’s meant serious and not only a say.
That means not giving an antifascist message on stage and tolerate
the scum in real life, or play at Greyzone festivals.
The problem is that most apolitical bands or people always say they won’t have nothin to do with the left or the right, but it’s always the same piss take when they agitate people against the ANTIFA on one hand and form a line with
the right-wing scum on the other hand.
Is that apolitical? We don’t think so…
4. IN GERMANY IS VERY POPULAR TERM “GREY ZONE” CAN YOU TELL ME A LITTLE BIT ABOUT IT?
The Greyzone describes the cut surface between apolitical and right-wing scene,
what’s more than arguable, because that was increasing pretty much alarming
the last years. It’s an old topic, and everybody knows it, but the kids don’t really care, because they don’t know anything else. People who criticise that
are called commies and ultra-red by them, PC-fuckers, whatever…
One of the best examples, if you ask me. We were shocked about the whole scandals around that band. Definetly one of the bands we wouldn’t play with together again…
6. IN STUTTGART ALWAYS THERE WERE GOOD ANTIFASCIST BANDS LIKE FOR EXAMPLE FREIBOITER (RIP) AND YOU HAVE STRONG SCENE ACTIVITY.
GIGS WITH BANDS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, UNDERGROUND SHOPS, HASSCOINTAINER LABEL ETC.
HOW DEOS LIFE IN STUTTGART LOOKS LIKE? ARE NAZIS ACTIVE OVER THERE?
Hasscontainer is out! Since they also wanted to do Greyzone shows over here,
but you’re right, the scene is very strong in Stuttgart and we really stick together.
That’s not a matter of course, especially in Greyzone Germany,
and we’re very proud of it! Unfortanately Nazis are active over here, too…
7. YOU ALSO HAVE A GOOD PDF CREW WITH BEAUTIFUL GIRLS WITH BIG TITS AROUND THE WORLD HAHA ;-) HOW DID YOU DRAG TO YOUR PDF FAN CLUB SO MANY NICE GIRLS?
Hahahah! Yes, we always had a good crew around us, and with the international increasing of PDF we got a lot more contacts to good guys.
Some years ago we started to collect pics from our female friends and fans,
and as it turned out it was a great idea. Girls from all over the world sent their pics to us!!!
8.WHAT IS THE GERMAN ANTIFA SKINHEADS SCENE LIKE? I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE STRONG ANTIFASCIST MOVEMENT AND LOTS OF GOOD ANTIFASCIST BANDS AND LABELS.
WHICH BAND MADE A BIGGEST IMPRESSION ON YOU RECENTLY AND WHO IS WORTH TO BE RECOMMENDED BY YOU AS A FRESH ANTIFASICIST BLOOD?
but the other side isn’t small, too, so the struggle has to continue…
Biggest Impression to us were made by Los Fastidios, Stage Bottles, Bull Brigade, Loikaemie and of course The Oppressed.
There are also lots of fresh Antifa-Skinhead bands we would recommend,
like Roidige Hunde, United Struggle, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Wasted Youth
and AEF.
9.ALL BANDS HAVE THEIR OWN INFLUENCES. WHO IS THE MOST IMPORTANT INFLUENCE TO PDF AND WHY?
It’s always hard to answer questions like this, because we try to remain true
to our own style, what has developed itself by the years and we won’t copy other styles. Maybe that question should be answered by one of our friends or fans.
I think PDF is influenced by PDF itself, their friends, the Crew and the members themselves.
10.DID YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH NAZIS OR RIGHT WING SKINHEADS ON YOUR GIGS?
Sometimes we have to kick them out, or friends of us do it, yes.
The scum always try to get in where they shouldn’t get in.
These times it’s hard to identificate them, but we do our best!
11.HOW DID YOU REACT TO MY PROPOSITION ABOUT TRIBUTE TO THE OPPRESSED CD COMPILATION? ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THAT CD? WHO IS DOING THE BEST COVER SONG EXCEPT YOURS OF COURSE? ;-)
It was a great idea to let revive the old AFA-spirit from the Oppressed
and we’re very proud to be a part of it!

12.WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT RED SKINS OR RASH WHO PROMOTE TOTALITARIAN COMMUNISM SUCH AS STALINISM OR BOLSHEVISM?
DO YOU THINK THAT ALL LEFT WING SHOULD STICK TOGETHER EVEN WITH SUCH AN EXTREME GROUPS?
Most of the Red Skins or RASHies we know are very good guys and we support them. They are fewer promoting Totalitarianism than founding an antipole to the typical “I don’t give a shit – attitude”, or to the Greyzone problem.
We wouldn’t support Totalitarianism like it was done by Stalin for example,
but one shouldn’t forget that the basic idea of communisim from Marx
and the way it was done by any dictators are different.
Our sympathy for this is more equatable to the sympathy to the communistic youth in Germany at the time of the 3rd Reich, an antipole to the big bunch of shit!
And of course we stick together!
13.I THINK THAT SONG AFA-SFC WILL STAY PDF PERSONAL ANTHEM. WHAT DO YOU THINK? CAN YOU TELL OUR READERS WHAT THIS SONG IS ABOUT?
Also one of my favourites, it’s about that we don’t care, if the cops,
any politicians, the government, Joe Public, or the rest of the world always stick
by the right-wing side and hate us, just the same,
we stay antifascists and fight the scum in every case, because we hate them, too!
14.YOU HAVE RELEASED A NEW RE-ISSUE CD IN MAD BUTCHER RECORDS. HOW DID YOU GET IN TOUCH WITH MAD BUTCHER RECORDS?
ALSO I KNOW ABOUT YOUR TOUR TO CANADA THIS YEAR. CAN YOU TELL US A BIT MORE ABOUT IT?
After many German labels didn’t want to split up from that fuckin Greyzone, although they knew exactly about the problem, maybe they did not because of the money, we had to split up from old friends, and need to switch to something good. On my quest for a good label, that doesn’t support that Greyzone shit
I found Mad Butcher and Insurgence Records, and with them lots of new connections to good guys.
For example The Prowlers, we do an exchange with them, bring them over here in March, for touring with us through Germany, and go touring in Canada with them again in summer.
